Non-Discrimination Statement
As a recipient of Federal financial assistance, Kahuku Medical Center does not exclude, deny benefits to, or otherwise discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, sex or age in admission to, participation in or receipt of the services and benefits under any of its programs and activities, whether carried out by Kahuku Medical Center directly or through a contractor or any other entity with which Kahuku Medical Center arranges to carry out its programs and activities.
This statement is in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972.

If assistance is needed in filing a grievance the Chief Personnel Officer or designee is available. Following the receipt of a grievance an investigation will be conducted, and a written decision regarding the complaint shall be made within 30 days. The person filing the grievance may appeal the decision by writing to the CEO within 15 days of receiving the Section 1557 Coordinator’s decision. A written decision to the appeal will be made within 30 days of receipt of the appeal.
