KMC's Rehabilitation Therapy department offers inpatient and outpatient Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy on the main campus in Kahuku. Specialized services, including Pelvic Floor Therapy, are also available, saving many patients from lengthy trips to town.

A Guide to Rehabilitation Therapy at KMC:

Physical Therapy:

• Combines a diverse range of exercises and therapeutic activities to enhance strength and balance, improve coordination and athletic performance, restore range of motion, and effectively alleviate pain.

Pelvic Floor Therapy:

• Specialized care for symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction, including pelvic or low back pain, incontinence, and sexual dysfunction. Treatment plans address the underlying cause of dysfunction, aiming to restore and optimize the health and function of pelvic floor muscles.

Occupational Therapy:

• Individualized therapy tailored to enhance functional ability, promote independence and self-confidence, boost cognition, and empower patients to overcome challenges with activities of daily living.

Speech Therapy:
